Discussion Meeting between NMA & ICIMOD
December 16, 2021
NMA hosted a discussion meeting with ICIMOD where the Director General of ICIMOD Dr. Pema Gyamtsho and Dr. Arun Bhakta Shrestha - Regional Progamme Manager, River Basins & Cryosphere of ICIMOD were present to discuss on Climate Change Adaptation and Environment Protection in Mountain Region and also how NMA and ICIMOD could work together on it. Likewise President of NMA Mr. Santa Bir Lama, General Secretary Mr. Kul Bahadur Gurung, Secretary Mr. Tikaram Gurung and Executive Board Member Mr. Singi Lama were present in the meeting to discuss on the matter.
ICIMOD and NMA will soon be working in a corporate partnership for the betterment of the mountains and its people where Dr. Arun Bhakta Shrestha from ICIMOD and CEO of NMA Mr. Kul Prasad Rai would be focal person .
