Kul Bahadur Gurung from Ruby Valley, Dhading is the Managing Director of Alliance Treks & Expedition (P.) Ltd. and Nepal One Travel & Tours (P.) Ltd. Gurung is the Phd scholar for mountaineering studies. He has successfully ascended Mera Peak, Island Peak and Yala peak. He is the Founder President & IPP of Gurung Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Association, Nepal (GTEAN), Founder President & IPP of Ganesh Himal Tourism Development Committee, Vice President of Tourism Agencies Association of Nepal for 2013-2015 and Founder & Secretary for Climate Alliance of Himalayan Communities. He is the second person to be elected from Nepal for the candidacy for Management Committee, General Representative of International Federation of Climbing and Mountaineering (UIAA) Management Committee. Gurung holds expertise in mountaineering and trekking and has received various training in this field.
Tika Ram was born and raised in the high mountains of eastern Nepal. Being of the Gurung Tribe, his people have made the high Himalayas their home for centuries. His village of Shankhuwasabha literally hangs on the cliff overlooking a beautiful mountain valley. For the people here, climbing is just a daily activity.
Tika Ram worked his way into the mountaineering business from the ground up. He was 22 years old when he became a porter and cook on his first trekking expedition. Three years later, he landed a job as a cook for a mountaineering expedition up Mt. Lobuche East (elev. 6,183 m).
Since then, he has climbed Mt. Everest (twice), K2(elev. 8,611 m) in Pakistan, Mt. Cho-yu in Tibet (elev. 8,201) along with Mt. Manaslu (elev. 7,600 m), Mt. Island Peak (6,187 m), and Mt. Mera Peak (elev. 6,416 m) in Nepal. He has also climbed in Pakistan Mt. Gasherbrum-I (8,068 m) and Mt. Gasherbrum-II (8,035 m). Out of the 14 of the highest mountains in the world, he has already climbed five of them, with a goal of climbing all 14 8000m peaks in his lifetime.
His list of accomplishments far exceeds the above mentioned peaks. He is a Board Member of Nepal Mountain Academy. He is fluent in Japanese, English, Urdu, Hindi as well as Nepali. He has given of himself in many civic organizations. He was a founding board member of the Expedition Operators Assoc. of Nepal, general secretary of the Gurung Tourism Entrepreneur Association of Nepal (GTEAN) and Chairman of the Sankhuwasabha Tourism Festival (2011, Kathmandu). He holds numerous memberships in other organizations and is widely respected for his knowledge of mountaineering as well as his leadership and organization skills.
Tul Singh Gurung from Laprak, Gorkha is an International Mountaineering Guide and Mountaineering Instructor. He is the Executive Board Member and Director of Training at Nepal Mountaineering Association. Gurung has successfully ascended numerous mountains in Nepal and in other countries in the capacity of mountain guide. Gurung has received various training on mountaineering from various mountaineering agencies nationally and internationally. Gurung is the President of Manaslu Foundation, General Secretary of Nepal National Mountain Guide Association, and Coordinator of Rescue Committee of Himalayan Rescue Association.
Vinaya Shakya from Kathmandu is the Executive Board Member, Central Secretariat Member and Convener of Publication Committee at Nepal Mountaineering Association. He is also the Executive Board Member of Pacific Asia Travel Association, Transen Guthi and Saddharma Bauddha Sewa Samaj. He is the Chairperson of Tripitak Holidays Pvt Ltd, Lecturer at Kathmandu Academy of Tourism and Hospitality and Nepal Mountain Academy.
Sanjib Gurung is originally from Makalu-5, Sangkhuwasabha. He was born in a remote village of Himalaya which is close to Mount Makalu eastern part of Nepal. He completed his high school level, after high school, he came to Katmandu. And his interest in travel, mountains, adventure, culture and peoples so he starts work in the tourism sector since 2006. His first trekking was Chulu Far East peak as a Porter.
He worked as Porter, Kitchen staff, Assistant Guide, Porter Guide and now he is certified Trekking & Mountain Guide in Trip Himalaya Trek & Expedition (P) LTD. He is also a Mountain Biking Guide and canyoning Guide too. He obtained a Trekking Guide license, Basic Mountaineering Training, Rock Climbing Course Level one and Advance Mountaineering Training. He has successfully guided hundreds of western trekkers from Europe and America to all the popular Trekking regions of Nepal. He had completed the Great Himalaya Trail (GHT) upper route in 89 Days with Swiss Client Maria Theresia Zwyssig in 2019.

Mingma Gyabu Sherpa, also known as Mingma David is a Guiness world record holder for Youngest Climber to ever summit all fourteen 8000mt mountains in the world. He is a Everest Summiteer who has summited Everest 6 times. He is a mountaineer and high mountain rescue expert. He climbed Everest and K2 within 63 days and made successful traverses of Everest and Lhotse in less than 20 hours. Till the date Mr. Sherpa made more than 70% of human rescue from the mountains including some from the death zone above 8000m. In 2016 Mingma and his team successfully operated the highest mix rescue human and air from the death zone of Everest from 8600m. This rescue has been considered as one of the highest human powered rescue operations Ever. In 2016 within two months a rescue team led by Mingma Gyabu conducted 52 successful rescues in Everest Region. Remarkably, Mingma led the rescue operation “highest longline rescue Ever” in Dhaulagiri 1, where his team made first human rescue recovery from 7900m Camp III and later sling recovery(long line) from 7400m. Mingma is now in the mission of 7 summits, climbing all the 7 highest peaks of 7 continents.
Shiva Bahadur Sapkota born in Ramechhap is a Kathmandu based mountaineer. Sapkota holds under- graduate degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from Tribhuvan University. Sapkota is the executive board member and secretary member along with training and expedition committee co- convener of Nepal Mountaineering Association. He is also a Peak Profile Committee Member. He is a freelance certified trekking and mountain guide. He has successfully summated the world’s highest mountain Mt. Everest on 20 May 2013. He has summated several mountains in Nepal, India and Australia. He led the Lumbini To Mt. Everest Youth Leader Peace Expedition on 26 May 2012. Sapkota has received several life skill training in the outdoor field from First Aid training from American Red Cross, National Lifeguard Training from Nepal Swimming Association, Heli Marshalling, Advanced Mountaineering, Mountain Liaison officer training and many more. He is also a rock climbing competition jury. He is the executive board member of Everest Summiteers Association. He has visited several countries around the world; Australia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy,Spain, Portugal, South Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, Dubai, Japan, Hongkong and India among others.
