General Discussion Between Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Nepal Mountain Academy (NMA)

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) initiated a discussion program with Nepal Mountain Academy, a government body to move together for the promotion and betterment of Mountain Tourism.

Presidents of both the organizations led the meeting. President Mr. Santa Bir Lama, General Secretary Mr. Kul Bahadur Gurung, Secretary Tikaram Gurung, Secretariat member Mr. Dipendra Pandey and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Kul Prasad Rai was present at the meeting.

President Lakhpa Phuti Sherpa, executive Director and Campus chief Mr. Romnath Gyawali, Board member Tshering Jangbu Sherpa and Director Uttam Bhandari represented the other side. 

Various topics were discussed in the meeting and both the parties agreed on the proposals. The program and modalities of working together on the issues of mountain tourism will be finalized after further discussion.
