NMA extends condolences to the bereaved family of late. Shambhu Tamang

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) extended its condolences to the bereaved family of late. Shambhu Tamang. 

 

The famous climber, the 1st youngest Everest Summiteer, the founder member and also the advisor of NMA, Mr. Tamang was diagnosed with cancer and admitted to a hospital. He breathed his last on Thursday.

 

He lived with his wife, a son and a daughter. He was one of the major people to propose the establishment of NMA.

 

President of NMA Mr. Nima Nuru Sherpa, Senior Vice President Mr. Thakur Raj Pandey, 1st Vice president Mr. Ang Dawa Sherpa, General Secretary Mr. Mohan Lamsal, Secretary Mr. Dhan Bahadur Gurung and Treasurer Mr. Mukti Pandey visited Tamang's home to extend the condolence to his bereaved family. 

 

Likewise, members of the NMA Mr. Pitamber Gurung, Mr. Singi Lama, Ms. Doma Sherpa, Ms. Nima Doma Sherpa, Mr. Rajendra Bahadur Lama, Mr. Dinesh Tamang, Mr. Ram Chandra Dhamala, Mr. Tul Sing Gurung and Mr. Lal Bahadur Waiba also visited Tamang's place to enhance their condolences. 

 

The NMA team handed over the frame of condolence to Tamang's wife. 

 

Late Tamang will be paid last rites tomorrow 11:00am at Swayambhu with the ritual of Tamang community.
