The Executive Board of Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) today unveils a handover report. The existing executive board will be handing over the tenure to the new team after the June 10-11, 2022 election.

General Secretary of NMA Mr. Kul Bahadur Gurung gave a powerpoint presentation to brief all the good work carried out during the tenure. 

NMA president Mr. Santa Bir Lama expressed his gratitude to all who had helped to make his tenure a success.

‘‘We tried our best to work in the favor of mountaineers and mountain tourism. However, we had to face many challenges from within the circle’’. President Mr. Lama said, ‘‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who had helped us during our hard time. I hope we will continue to work for the betterment of mountaineers and mountain tourism together.’’

The election held on 2017 had elected the new executive board of NMA in the chairmanship of Mr. Lama. Mr. Lama had won over the Zimba Zangbu Sherpa.
