Black Book or Support Climber (SC) :
To apply for the black book one should:
- Fill the form available at NMA
- Submit the copy of citizenship
- Two passport size photos
- Recommendation letter from Trekking agency registered at NMA
- Receipt of Nrs.500 from NMA
Once one has issued the black book they should renew their book every year by paying Nrs. 200.
Blue Book or Senior Support Climber (SSC) :
To apply for the blue book one must have completed three years of receiving black book or completed the Basic Mountaineering Course from NMA.
- Fill the form available at NMA
- Submit the copy of citizenship
- Two passport size Photos
- 3 years of completion of Black book or Certificate of Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) from NMA
- Receipt of Nrs.500 from NMA
Once one has issued the blue book they should renew their book every year by paying Nrs. 200.
Red Book or Sardar:
To apply for the Red book one must have completed three years of receiving a blue book or completed the Advance Mountaineering Course (AMC) from NMA.
- Fill the form available at NMA
- Submit the copy of citizenship
- Two passport size Photo
- 3 years completion of Blue book or Certificate of Advance Mountaineering Course (AMC) from NMA
- Receipt of Nrs.500 from NMA
Once one has issued the red book they should renew their book every year by paying Nrs. 300.
